SAINT GEORGE

”Protect my life from fear"

Saint George is known as the model of knighthood and protector of women. He is typically shown as a youth in armor, often mounted, and slaying a dragon, his shield and lance pennant being a red cross on a white ground. Saint George is the acknowledged patron saint of England and soldiers. Emblems associated with Saint George are armor, a dragon and a horse.
